How Does Source Turbo Machine Work?

For those who do not have much experience with mining, this machine is the best choice. It does not need any additional expensive laboratory or laboratory tools to produce the ideal product.
This extractor machine works with an independent closed-loop system, allowing it to quickly and smoothly conduct its work without any tools.
During the extraction of cannabis, under the help of the vacuum innovation and advance system control, the ethanol will evaporate under an ideal temperature. That temperature was about 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
The evaporated ethanol will be inserted into a place called the collection vessel. The collection vessel is essentially vacuum chamber under the action of heat and atmospheric temperature.
The stored ethanol will be safely protected from common external gases. So the finished product that this machine produces is of absolute quality, not mixed by other impurities.
That is also the reason why the Source Turbo review is always maintained in a positive state. You can refer to other reviews on Reddit to have the most comprehensive view of this product.

How To Properly Use Source Turbo Extractor?

This extractor machine from Extractcraft is a modern and worthwhile device. Its emergence eliminated cumbersome and costly laboratory instruments, or complex formulas that only the most experienced could do.
With this machine, even if this is your first time making cannabis oil we can be sure that you won’t get stuck. All you need to do are simple steps and does not require any complicated techniques.
This usage can be applied to any recipe or ingredient that you want to create.
First, make sure your marijuana is washed with ethanol. It’s called “wash”, but we want to emphasize a bit that you need to make sure all the marijuana is soaked in ethanol before you move on to the next step.
The next step you need to do is take all the marijuana out of the ethanol solution and pour the solution onto the crucible of the extractor machine.
Now that it is almost done, press the button and you can set more parameters as desired. After 3-4 hours of machine operating, you will get the most strongest and quality cannabis oil.
You see, how to use it is not complicated at all. It doesn’t take as much time or effort as the manual way.

What Are the Pros and Cons of Source Turbo?

Any product has its disadvantages and advantages and this extractor is no exception. Here are some of the pros and cons of this machine.

#1 Pros

The biggest advantage of this device is its convenience. You don’t have to use a lot of laboratory equipment or spend a day in a laboratory extracting cannabis oil. It is small in size and can be easily placed on any shelf.
With this machine, it does its job automatically, and you don’t need to be with it during the extraction. During that time, you can do other jobs.
Furthermore, you can also save the amount of alcohol used for the extraction process. You can recuperate that alcohol for other processes and it sure is a decent savings for you.
And in particular, this extractor does not require a lot of experience to be able to operate properly. So even those who make their own CBD oil for the first time will not have problems with the finished product.

#2 Cons

The Source Turbo’s pity is its capacity. It can only hold 500ml of QWET, so this machine is best for personal use. For commercial purposes, the capacity of this machine is quite small, not suitable.
Besides, the ice tray which can keep the vacuum cool will be negatively affected if the user uses the wrong amount of ice. So it will affect the extraction process, thereby reducing the quality of the oil.
And the cost of this product is also a major hurdle for many smokers. However, with what it gives users, the price is quite suitable.
Customers can hunt for promo codes from Extractcraft to be able to buy products at a discounted price.

#1 (Editors’ Choice) Smart Weigh SWS600 Elite Pocket Sized Digital Scale 600 x 0.1g

The Smart Weigh scales are very popular because they are accurate but not too pricey. This one, the SWS600 Elite, measures minuscule amounts down to a tenth of a gram. Just as critical, it has a tare function. That means you can place a rolling paper on the scale, hit the tare function button, and the scale will go back to zero. Then pile on your leaves, and the scale will show you the weight of the weed without the paper.
Also important is the fact that the SWS600 is small and portable. It runs on AAA batteries that won’t need replacing for a long time even if you use it every day. And if you want to weigh something bigger, its scale cover converts into a weighing tray for up to 600 grams, or 1.32 pounds.

#2 Poniie Digital Jewelry Kitchen Food Scale (Calibration Weight and Batteries Included), 500g/0.01g

The Ponii i-2000 scale is handy for very small measurements down to one-hundredth of a gram. When you consider that the American dollar bill weighs about 1 gram, you can sort of imagine how powerful this scale is. Yet it can also handle up to 500 grams, too.
If you don’t like grams, or you’re measuring jewelry instead of weed, you can change the settings to show an item’s weight in ounces, troy ounces, carets, and pennyweight. To calibrate your scale, the manufacturer sends a 100 gram weight in the box. You’ll also get two AAA batteries, a manual, and a one-year warranty.

#3 American Weigh Scales Signature Series Silver AWS-1KG-SIL Digital Pocket Scale, 1000 by 0.1G

American Weigh Scales sells the AWS-1KG-SIL pocket digital scale that measures between 0.1 grams and one kilogram. The steel lid flips open to serve as a weighing tray. And it has a backlit LCD display that runs off two AAA batteries.
That description sounds typical of many of the scales we selected for this article. Why would you care more about the AWS-1KG-SIL? There are two reasons: it’s made by a trusted manufacturer and covered by an impressive 10-year warranty.

#4 Dapai Mini Digital Kitchen Scale Travel Size Food Scale 0.1g-3Kg with Tare Function- Stainless

Dapai’s Mini Scale handles up to 3 kilos at a time, but is accurate down to one-tenth of a gram. You can also measure in ounces, carets, and so on. Should you place something that’s too heavy on the tray, the scale will warn you to remove it. It will also tell you when the batteries are getting low. The auto-off function helps save them from dying too soon.
Although it can manage bigger items, the scale itself is only about the size of a smartphone. It has a steel surface that’s easy to clean, and it comes with two other trays as well. Dapai offers a lifetime warranty.

#5 American Weigh Scales GEMINI-20 Portable MilliGram Scale, 20 by 0.001 G

We couldn’t resist this milligram scale. It measures down to one-thousandth of a gram. It even comes with tweezers to move those tiny, tiny particles on and off its tray.
The downsides to the GEMINI-20 scale are that it only takes up to 20 grams of weight, and its surface is very small. And you’ll want to make use of the flip-top lid to protect its weighing tray. But should you need to measure a few grains of something interesting, this is the digital scale for you.

#6 Etekcity Digital Touch Kitchen Scale Multifunction Food Scale 1g Weighable with Easy to Clean Tempered Glass Surface, 11lb 5kg

Etekcity probably intended you to weigh food with this scale. After all, it measures between one gram and five kilos. But we won’t tell them if you’re actually weighing your harvest on it. Since it has a tempered glass surface that’s stain-resistant, it shouldn’t be too hard to remove resin from it.
One thing to note; the scale runs on two CR2032 button batteries, not the more common AAA. But that’s not a hard power source to find. And it comes with a one-year warranty against defects.

#7 Weighmax Electronic Kitchen Scale – Weighmax 2810-2KG black

The Weighmax Kitchen Scale is accurate down to one gram, or one-tenth of an ounce, but it can handle up to 2 kilogram or 5 pounds. This isn’t a portable model, but it comes with a removable glass bowl. It has a tare function to zero out the weight of a container, and it runs on two AA batteries.

#8 Boldall Portable Digital Kitchen Food Scale with Black Cover, 500 grams x .01g/.001oz

Boldall’s Portable Food Scale is a handy choice for measuring between one-hundredth of a gram and half a kilo. It’s durable because it’s made from stainless steel and has a cover that protects its surface.
The low battery indicator will tell you when to change the batteries, and the overload warning will let show if you’re weighing something over 1.1 pounds. Should you feel unhappy with your purchase, Boldall offers a 60-day money-back guarantee.

#9 American Weigh Scale AMW-MB100 Matchbox Scale Digital Mini Scale, Club Style, 100 X 0.01 Gram

This is the king of stealth scales. The AMW-MB100 looks and feels like a matchbox, but it’s accurate down to 0.01 grams and up to 100 grams. Stick this in your pocket and chances are no one will know it’s a measuring device. It even has a decorative paper sleeve that comes in one of several designs from restaurants and hotels. Should there be a problem, it’s covered by a 10-year warranty.

#10 AWS Can Safe + Grinder + 100g x 0.01g Digital Scale (3-in-1)

Why not combine a grinder, a digital scale, and a safe in one product? That way you can transport your weed, measure it out accurately, and grind it for smoking or vaping.

#11 Horizon PCC-100 Digital 100g by 0.01g Pocket Scale and Calculator

If you deal, the Horizon PCC-100 is a tool worth having. It has both a digital scale and a calculator. The scale is accurate between 100 grams and one-hundredth of a gram. The calculator, meanwhile, is solar-powered and able to help you set a fair price for your product.

#12 docooler Weight 1g 2g 5g 10g 20g Chrome Plating Calibration Gram Scale Weight Set for Digital Scale Balance

There’s always the question of how do you know if your scale is accurate? The answer is to calibrate it, or test it, yourself with a known weight. And the selection of ones from docooler come in common amounts like 1 gram up to 20 grams. This is a cheap way to make sure your scale is working like it should. The weights themselves are tested to be correct within  +/-0.003 grams.

How to choose the best digital scale for your needs

The first step in choosing a scale is to understand a little about the metric system. For example, here are things that weigh approximately one gram:

  • a paperclip
  • one US dollar bill
  • one cubic centimeter of water

It takes a little more than 28 grams to equal one US ounce. Did you know you can get about 40 joints out of one ounce of pot? And you probably already know that an eighth of marijuana is 1/8-ounce, or about 3.5 grams.
When you select a digital scale for personal use, you might prefer something portable and accurate down to one-tenth of a gram. You’ll need that level of accuracy to manage eighths. Or you might want to compare the size of your blunt with your friends. Dealers will probably need something a little more precise since they may sell half-eighths, which are 1.75 grams.
As for the upper limit, it’s good to look for a scale that can handle at least 200 grams for personal use, or over a kilo for distribution purposes.
Also, consider the size of the scale itself. Will it sit on your counter at home, or ride around in your pocket? Many pocket scales are durable enough to withstand being carried around without losing their accuracy. On the other hand, a larger scale comes in handy if you want to weigh marijuana to bake edibles with it.
Finally, you might enjoy having a stealth scale even if you don’t need to hide your weed. It’s a fun thing to have and show to friends, and they usually aren’t very expensive.

Conclusion

Choosing the best digital scale for marijuana is easy if you consider the level of precision you need as well as the size of the scale itself. Check back soon to see new reviews and guides to getting the best paraphernalia and equipment to enjoy weed and grow your own.

Best Bud Trimmer Machine: Reviews (2021 Update)

When growing cannabis, patience is a virtue! It takes several weeks before it is finally ready for harvest. Now that your plant is looking and smelling all good, the next thing that you have to do is to cut the bud.
Some people will consider cutting the bud manually. It takes quite an effort on your end, especially if you have to cut a lot. With this, a bud trimmer machine can be a true lifesaver!
A bud trimmer will help to speed up the job, saving time and effort! Of course, this will depend on the trimmer that you will choose, which makes it important to be a responsible buyer.
Clueless on which bud trimmer will be best for you? We got you covered! Read the rest of this post and we’ll give you a quick look at some of the top options available.

Why Bother Trimming the Buds?

If you ask people from the cannabis community, they are probably in unison saying that it is necessary to trim the buds. It does not matter how you do it. The important thing is that they are trimmed.

  • Enhanced THC: Your buds have sugar leaves. The latter are low in THC and can negatively affect the overall quality of the weed. With trimmed buds, there will be better THC gram-on-gram, improving the quality of the weed.
  • Smoother Experience: When your weed has leaves, it will be harsher when it is smoked. This can make you feel uncomfortable as it will irritate the throat. According to High Times, leaves contain chlorophyll. When they are not removed, it can be harsh.
  • Improved Appearance: Aesthetics is another reason why you need to trim the buds. If you look at photos of weeds online, they seem perfect, too good to be true. You can achieve the same look if you use a bud trimmer. This is going to make weed more attractive!

Which Trimming Method is Best?

Any marijuana grower would agree with me when I say that trimming weed is an art and a science. You need to do it with care for the best outcomes. With this, one of the things that need to be decided upon would be your choice of trimming.

  • Wet Trimming: This is the more common method and also the one that is easier. When cannabis is trimmed while it is wet, it can result in a more manicured look. The buds will look prettier, which is exactly why this is what most people prefer.
  • Dry Trimming: Under this method, the cannabis is allowed to dry first. The larger fan leaves also have to be manually removed. This does not only take more time, but also more effort on your end.

What are the Types of Bud Trimmers?

Before we discuss the best examples of bud trimmer machines, they can be categorized into two:

  • Manual Trimmers: These are the ones that are operated by hand, which means that it will require quite an effort. They are usually the cheaper option. Most of the products mentioned below fall under this category.
  • Automatic Trimmers: It comes with an electronic motor that automates the process of trimming. This is less time-consuming and easier to operate, which is perfect if you are trimming a large batch of weed.

The Right Way to Trim Buds

More than having the right trimmer, here are other important tips that you have to keep in mind:

  • When you trim, remove everything not covered by trichomes. This include foliage and red pistils. They do not have any content that will affect the overall quality of the weed.
  • After trimming, make sure that the weed is stored in an airtight container. Store it away from heat. Keep it in a cool and dry place.
  • Always clean your trimming equipment after use, which will help prolong its functional life.
  • Wear gloves. Resin in marijuana can be difficult to get off your hands after if you do not have gloves.

Benefits of CBD Oil

Before anything else, let us start this post by discussing some of the benefits of CBD oil. Once you are aware of the things that it can do, you will have good reasons for making CBD oil on your own.

  • Pain Relief: This is perhaps the most popular benefit of using CBD oil. It is known as an analgesic, which makes it effective in minimizing the physical pain that is felt. If you are suffering from chronic pain conditions, such as in the case of fibromyalgia, CBD oil will be effective.

Different Ways on How to Make CBD Oil

Now that we have established the benefits, let us go to the main part of the discussion. To make your own CBD oil, keep in mind the methods that will be mentioned below. Personal preferences, as well as the tools that are available, will dictate the method that will be right for you. Be sure to religiously follow the instructions to maximize the benefits of CBD in the oil that you will make.

Oil Method

With this method, there is a need to choose a carrier oil, such as olive or coconut oil. This is increasing in popularity because it allows the user to take advantage not only of the CBD that is extracted but also of the carrier oil that is going to be used.
Here is how you can make CBD oil through the oil method:

  1. With the use of a weed grinder, choose buds by bud trimmer, leaves, and stems of a high-quality cannabis plant. The quality of the cannabis that will be used will dictate the quality of the oil that will be produced. Before doing this, however, the parts of the cannabis have to go through a process known as decarboxylation. To do this, you have to bake the buds and leaves at a temperature of 220 degrees Fahrenheit for about 90 to 100 minutes.
  2. In a mason jar, mix the ground weed with the carrier oil of choice. For the purpose of this guide, we will make one with coconut oil. You have to saturate the weed with the oil. You can reduce the oil or add more depending on how potent you want the end product to be.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil. Place the lid of the mason jar and make sure to secure it in place. On the bottom of the pan, place a towel. Place the jar on the top and fill it with water until it reaches a temperature of at least 200 degrees. It will be good if you have a thermometer.
  4. Leave the pot for about three hours. From time to time, check the pot and see to it that the water has not evaporated. Turn off the stove after three hours and let it sit for another three hours. Heat it again for three hours, turn off the heat, and leave it for the night.
  5. The next morning, your CBD oil is ready. Strain it using a cheesecloth, squeeze, and your oil is ready to be used as you desire.

Alcohol Method

Also known as the ethanol method, it is another process that does not require special skills or advanced equipment, making it another good choice for beginners thinking of how to make CBD oil. Alcohol is preferred as an extracting agent because it does not leave an unpleasant taste or odor.

  1. Put the weed in a ceramic or glass bowl. Cover it with alcohol and stir for about 6 minutes. Use a wooden spoon to extract the resin.
  2. Place a straining bag or sieve to filter the solvent out of the container. Squeeze as much extract as possible. You can repeat the process if you think that you can still extract more oil from weed that you are squeezing.
  3. In a double boiler, pour the oil that you have earlier extracted. Heat it until bubbles start to form. Wait until the alcohol evaporates but do not raise the temperature. Wait until it simmers in about thirty minutes while making sure that the flame is low. Once the alcohol evaporates completely, mix it.
  4. Transfer the concentrated oil in a storage bottle. Be sure to keep the lid tight to avoid damaging its quality and effectiveness.

The Different Ways to Use CBD Oil

Now that you have made you own CBD oil, the next concern would be how to use it. This is one thing that requires careful thought, which will be instrumental in its effectiveness.

  • Spray: This is one of the least preferred ways of consumption basically because of the low concentration of CBD oil. You can put the oil in a spray bottle. To use, spray one to three times on the mouth.
  • Vaping: The inhalation of CBD oil is one more thing that holds a lot of promise. Using a vape will also provide you with the opportunity to adjust the dosage of the CBD that gets into your body.
  • Tinctures: It is known for its purity, which is the reason why it is the most popular way of using CBD oil. All that you have to do is to apply a few drops of CBD oil under the tongue. This is popular as well for the quick absorption for optimal effects.
  • Concentrates: If you want a high dosage of CBD extract to be absorbed by the body, this is the method that you should choose. It is believed to be stronger by as much as ten times compared to other forms of using CBD oil.
  • Ingestion: The taste of CBD oil can be foul for some people. While you can consume it straight, it can also be used in the form of a capsule that contains CBD oil. With this, you will be able to swallow it without the burden of an unwanted taste.
  • Creams: You can also use CBD oil in the form of topical applications. Creams with CBD oil can be used in the treatment of various skin conditions and in providing immediate pain relief.
  • Edibles: If you have ever been in a place where weed is legal, you will see a lot of edibles, many of which use CBD oil as the main ingredient. From cookies to gummy bears, people have been creative in thinking of ways how to digest CBD oil.

Hemp vs Medical Marijuana: Where to Extract CBD Oil

It is also important to note that you can extract CBD oil from two main sources – hemp and medical marijuana. Depending on the source, there can be differences in the quality of the oil that will be extracted. The difference lies in the amount of the CBD and THC that will be present.
First, let us have a look at the difference between THC and CBD, even if the rest of this post is focused only on CBD oil. The best way to discuss the differences between one with THC from one without THC would be in terms of their effect. Basically, THC is the one that provides psychotropic effects. It is the one that makes you high. CBD does not give the same effect and is known for its medical benefits.
Between hemp and medical marijuana, the main difference lies in the concentration of CBD. Hemp is grown to have a high concentration of CBD. Medical marijuana, on the other hand, has a high level of THC. Hemp is a better material to extract oil because it is also used for other purposes, such as the production of paper. Oil is a by-product, which is why the oil is a result of recycling.

Home-made vs Professional-made CBD Oil

There are also key differences between a CBD oil that is made by an ordinary person and a professional. One of the biggest differences would perhaps be in the case of extraction. Homemade CBD oil is not as pure and strong as the one that is professional-made. The ingredients will also be different. If it is professional-made, the things used are of higher quality. The latter is also the reason why it is more expensive when compared to home-made CBD oil.

The Best Marijuana Strains to Use

If you are thinking of making your own CBD oil, you need to choose the right marijuana strain. This will have a huge impact on the effectiveness of the oil that will be produced. Generally, you have to choose a marijuana that is high in CBD and low in THC. That being said, these are some of the best options to consider:

  • ACDC: This has the reputation of being the strain that will leave you feeling thunderstruck. It will provide a high euphoric feeling immediately right after use. It is popular for the treatment of anxiety, migraines, and inflammation.
  • Charlotte’s Web: This is regarded as the most popular marijuana strain in the world, which is why you can never go wrong with this. It is about 60% Indica. The CBD content can be as high as 20%. There is no high that can be produced. It is also common in food supplements.
  • Harle Tsu: This is a marijuana strain that is known for its pain relief. It can have up to 22% CBD and the THC can be lower than 1%. It is a mellow strain that will work effectively as a painkiller.
  • Harlequin: A strain that is Sativa dominant, it has a high level of CBD, although the THC level is also high. It has a soothing effect, which makes it effective for people who need to be calmed down.

Wrap Up

At this point, I hope that you have already learned how to make CBD oil the right way. There is no need to have experience or expertise. Even as a beginner, you can do so without difficulty. You can choose from oil or alcohol method. Regardless of which method you pick, you can be confident that it can be completed without the need to exert too much effort.

What is THC Distillate?

Before we begin, we must first discuss what a THC distillate is. This might cause confusion, especially if you are a beginner to medical marijuana. The THC distillate is the purest form of medical cannabis oil, which is almost 100% THC. Also known as The Clear or the Tetrahydrocannabinol, it is the golden and translucent oil that has no flavor or real aroma.
The distillate is considered one of the h2est marijuana products and cannabis enthusiasts love it. While most users and medical patients opt to dab the oil, it has a lot of other uses. In addition, the THC distillate is solvent-free, unlike other marijuana extracts. This makes it a lot healthier to consume than others that contain solvents like butane and alcohol.
One of the many advantages of the distillate is that it undergoes the process of decarboxylation during extraction. This would mean that it has already been activated and you would not be needing to heat it up when used on edibles or any other application. Indeed, it delivers an obvious advantage to those who use medical marijuana.

What are the Effects and Health Benefits of THC Distillate?

It must be remembered that it differs depending on your consumption method. When you dab it, the effects can be extremely psychoactive and euphoric. The effect is purely cerebral, and you will not feel sluggish after you smoke a perfectly done distillate.
When you eat the distillate in a marijuana edible, the effects are somewhat the same as when you dab it but it is less intense. In case you did not know, edibles that are made with an appropriate dosage of distillate are perfect to use in the day because it would not make you feel sedated or lazy.
When it comes to its health benefits, you can get a great deal out of it because of the inclusion of the most significant medical compounds found in marijuana. It can help patients who suffer from chronic pain, in which there is instant pain relief just seconds after inhaling the oil. And because of its euphoric effect, the patient can simply forget about his or her pain.
The THC distillate is also a very popular and common choice for patients that want to reduce the feeling of nausea and other digestive benefits. As the distillate oil is the most potent form of THC that is available now, it can also aid in improving a patient’s appetite, especially those with eating disorders.
While it is one of the best pain relievers out there, it also serves as an anti-spasmodic, which helps your nerves and muscles to relax and provides instant relief from spasms. It also offers a great advantage for people who suffer from mental health issues, cancer, and several other diseases. Lastly, the oil has the capability of killing cancer cells in the body.

What are the Many Uses of THC Distillate?

As one of the most versatile marijuana products available today, the THC distillate is now being used a lot more because manufacturers and producers are now realizing its benefits. Probably one of the biggest advantage for those of you who opt to make chocolates or brownies using a THC distillate is that it has already undergone decarboxylation, making it very easy to use.
Another great use of the THC distillate in the marijuana industry is that it is also utilized in producing vape cartridges, as well as its oils or juices. With this, more and more vape manufacturers are using pure distillate because of its potency and purity compared to other marijuana extracts.

How to Make Distillate at Home

In this section, we are going to talk about the two most popular methods of making distillate that both offer outstanding flavor, which is the short path distillation and the short path wiped film. While these are two different processes, they achieve a very similar outcome. Now, let’s talk about how short path wiped film distillation process works.
This distillation process takes advantage of cannabinoids’ melting points, as opposed to other methods that use solvents to move the extract material. The system is set up using a feed vessel that sends the extract material into a vessel for heated evaporation. Inside it, there is a rotating wiper blade that distributes the material to the walls evenly.
An internal condenser can be found at the center of the evaporation vessel, where the extract material is split up and concentrated. Due to the proximity of the heated wall to the condenser, a shorter path has been provided for the extract to travel to. Therefore, this distillation process is called short path wiped film distillation.
As the wiper blades move the extract material down the vessel, it now evaporates to the condenser; thus, converting it back to liquid form. This liquid collected at the bottom portion of the system is now a distillate.
Sugar, wax fractions, salts, and chlorophyll, which are all heavier materials, do not evaporate off the surface of the vessel, which is why they travel with the help of the wiper blades. These heavier materials go into a separate container, which can also be found at the bottom part of the system. To add, you will find terpenes in chilled and separate evaporators.
The next method is called the short path process, in which it uses the same setup as the short path wiped film distillation process but without the wiper blades that distribute the extract material. Instead, you will find a heated flask where the extract material goes into. Though gradually, increased heat will be applied to the material inside the flask.
You also need to use a vacuum to help in moving the vapors into the fractionating tubing. From this tubing, the extract material moves on to the condensing tube wherein the fractions go to separate paths. Then, just like the wiped film distillation process, the weight of the fraction determines the flask used for collection.
To further refine the product, both processes can make the extract material run through the system a couple more times. To add, the short path distillation process’s setup is more compact and it also works well even you have multiple devices working simultaneously in a tight space.
With regards to cost, you might find out that they vary in price. However, you can expect to pay $3,000 for basic short part systems. Wiped film systems, on the other hand, may run between $5,000 to $40,000, depending on the features and capabilities.

How Does the Distillation Process Work?

In this section, we will be discussing how the THC process work. First, the plant is ground and extracted until it becomes a solvent, which will then be separated from cannabidiol CBD. Due to the high boiling point of these cannabinoids, a short path distillation will be used to distill it at a low temperature.

The materials evaporate a lot quicker if there is low air pressure. This distillation process apparatus has a low residence time, which is referred to the amount of heat the material is exposed to while it is being evaporated. With this molecular distillation, it is assured that everything is separated, including the THC, terpenes, lipids, plant materials, pesticides, and all other components.
The process comes in two parts. During the first run, you separate the terpenes from the cannabinoids at low temperature. On the second run, you now remove the lipids, solvents, and other impurities, which makes an odorless high-value distillate that contains THC, CBD, along with other cannabinoids.
In the simplest sense, these cannabinoids mostly depend on the strain you are using. The wiped film process produces a THC distillate oil that can be used in tinctures, edibles, or vape cartridges.

Why Choose THC Distillate?

There are several reasons why THC distillates are chosen by weed lovers. Here are some of them:

Purity

The process of distillation creates a pure marijuana extract; therefore, omitting the need for solvents to separate marijuana components. Extractions including butane hash oil and carbon dioxide both require alcohol-based solvents to make the final product. the bonus of this process is that you achieve a very high level of THC, excluding all impurities.

Content

Distillation allows up to 99% THC in the final product, unlike the 80% of butane hash oil and carbon dioxide extractions. Indeed, this process is now becoming an industry standard due to the super clean nature of this method.

Discreet usage

The distillate oil is an odorless and flavorless product, which would mean that you can consume it discreetly. It can also be used for edibles, e-cigarettes, vape, or any other topical applications. You would not find any tar even if you inhale it. In addition, because the THC dilates the airways, it might also be good for people who suffer from asthma.

Effects

As mentioned in the earlier sections, the effects can be felt almost instantly. Since the THC has already been activated, its high potency can deliver fast results to any patient that requires heavy medication.

Usage

THC distillates have been proven to treat patients for a day even without the need to smoke a joint. A patient would only need a drop or two of the oil and its effects can be felt immediately. To add, swallowing distillate is good for an all-night relief, wherein the effect will hit after an hour after swallowing and dropping at about 8 hours.

Here are some of the popular usages of THC distillates:

Vapor

Using this method, you just need to fill the vape tank with the THC distillate. It should be noted that you need to use ceramic coil instead of a cotton coil, in which impurities alter the taste. Sure, the potency is still there but terpenes can go missing. Another thing to note is that distillate fractions need to be combined to get a full herb final product.

Dabs

One of the most popular forms of consuming THC distillate is through dabbing, which is essentially the process of vaporizing the distillate oil on a hot surface, done through taking a dab. It is also considered a great way to use marijuana without wasting the end product, which can only happen if you have good inhalation techniques.

Joints

Another popular method of consuming THC distillate is through smoking a joint, in which you just need to spread the oil on the rolling paper and then roll it as usual. This technique allows you to use lesser flower, while still having the great medicinal benefits from the marijuana. Doing this method will enhance the quality and potency of the smoke and burn.

Oral

You can do this method just by putting a pea size drop of the THC distillate under your tongue. If that is not an option, you can add it by mixing it into butter or cooking oil and then using with on your favorite recipe.

Conclusion

Now that we are done with the discussion, we certainly hope that you have learned how to make distillate at home. While it is a very intricate process, it is something that you can definitely do on your own. Just remember to take note of the process, as well as the differences between the processes.

How to cure Cannabis: Best Method to Dry and Cure Weed 2021

Having carefully been germinating your seeds, providing the tender love and care to bring your plants into life, and creating the perfect conditions for your flowers to grow, it’s now come to the long-awaited harvest!. However, harvesting is not quite the final step. First, comes the need to dry or ‘cure’ your cannabis. Whilst it is possible to do this quickly, the method is much more important than the speed at which you are able to do it.
To help you out, here are the cannabis seeds usa that work in any country.
There are a host of different ways to cure your buds and the bets way will vary from person to person depending on their intentions for the final product. Here we take a look at some of the different ways out there to cure your weed and which ones are suitable for all your cannabis inspired purposes.

Why Cure Cannabis?

Below we look at some reasons to cure your weed that are going to persuade you never to see this phase as something to just get out of the way quickly.

#1 Curing Cannabis Increases Potency

As you’ll be well aware, cannabis plants produce varying levels of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) and a number of other cannabinoids such as CBD and CBN. These compounds gradually transform over time, with THCA eventually becoming converted into THC through a process of biosynthesis as your plant grows.
Interestingly, this process of biosynthesis continues after you decide to cut down your plant and, fortunately for THC lovers, the non-psychoactive cannabinoids in your buds will begin to convert into THCA when kept in the right conditions. Namely, this means keeping them at temperatures that fall between 60°F and 70°F and humidity levels of 45% to no more than 55%.
Top Tip: If you dry your bud too quickly this process stops much faster so you’ll lose potential potency. You should also always keep your bud out of any light and particularly sunlight when curing, no matter what method you are using.

#2 Curing Cannabis Improves Flavours and Smoothness

Cannabis gets its flavor and smell from the wonderful terpenes the plants produce naturally. Unfortunately, these compounds are seriously volatile which means they are quick to degrade and evaporate off into the ether when they get too warm. In fact, terpenes can begin to break down at just 70°F, hence the need to keep your harvested bud between 60 and 70°F and take a slow curing approach.
Only with a slow cure will you be able to properly appreciate the best flavors and tastes of your plant so don’t let all your hard work go to waste at the curing stage just because you are desperate to give your handy work its first run-out. The proper slow curing conditions also help to ensure certain enzymes and bacteria and other unwanted sugars are broken down which also improves the smoothness of your smoke and prevents the throat-burn you get from badly cured weed.

#3 Curing Cannabis Preserves It

Good curing techniques enable you to keep your cannabis for much longer. Whilst you might not be used to having more bud than you can smoke, when you grow your own you might find you surprise yourself, so you’re not going to want to have to miss out on smoking it just because you can’t keep up the pace with its degradation.
So long as you cure your weed properly, then you won’t have to worry about mold or your bud losing its cannabinoids. Just make sure to keep your buds in an air-tight container and in a cool and dark location and, amazingly, your bud is fine for use for close to two years. In fact, you might even find your weed is aged a little, just like you would expect from a fine wine or whiskey aged in a barrel.
Top Tip:
DO: Use glass vacuum-sealed jars or containers that have a neutral charge, to store your bud.
DON’T: Store your bud in the fridge or freezer (this makes your trichomes brittle and makes them break off, in plastic bags (these have a charge which can steal your trichomes), or above or close to electronics or other appliances (as they give off heat).

Some of the most popular curing methods will rely on you drying your cannabis out for an initial period before you completely cure it. You’ll need to decide if you want to “wet trim” or “dry trim” your buds first.

Wet Trimming

If you choose to “wet trim” it is easier to precisely trim off any excess plant matter, although make sure to keep the sugar leaves you cut off as these can be used later to make edibles and oils. This method requires you to spread your buds over a large surface area that is aerated, such as a mesh drying rack. Cardboard and plastic will prevent aeration and lead to the development of mold, just as over-filling a rack will as the sticky resin is a great breeding space for unwanted bacteria.

Dry Trimming

Perhaps a more popular method is the “dry trim” as this is much easier when you’ve got a large amount of bud to dry off. This involves cutting off branches of between 10-15” in length and hanging buds whole from drying lines. These can then be trimmed once dry, although the smaller sugar leaves will be harder to remove when you use this method as they will have shriveled and curled inwards.
Top Tip: Whether you “wet trim” or “dry trim” you need to make sure the drying process takes place in a dark room or space that you can keep within the 60 and 70°F range and, perhaps with the aid of a dehumidifier, the humidity must remain within 45-55%. Use a fan to aid with air circulation.
You’ll know your buds are ready for curing when they are looking crunchy on the outside and you can easily snap the smallest branches away from the stem when bending them. If they fold, rather than bend, then they are not ready yet! This can take anywhere from 5-15 days but remember the slower the better, so long as you can keep the conditions right. Make sure to check regularly for any appearance of mold or mildew.

How to Choose Your Cannabis Curing Method

Once your buds have been carefully dried off, you’re ready to move on to the curing stage of the process. Our favorite is one of the easiest as it is a method that doesn’t involve too much equipment, but here we will run you through a few of the other options available to you if after reading the easy method it doesn’t appeal to you.

The Basic Curing Method

For this method, you’ll need a fair few air-tight Kilner jars which are easy enough to pick up or you could even use some recycled jam jars if they still have a good seal and are properly sanitized. Once your buds have passed the snap test you can pick off the buds, snapping them where they come apart easily. Fill each jar until it is around 2/3rds full and loosely place the lid on (without clamping it down if you have got Kilner jars) and store them in a cool dark place.
At this stage, it is still important to give your buds air to add the potency as the non-psychoactive compounds transform into THCA. As already mentioned, it also breaks down the sugars which helps to ensure you get a smoother smoke. For the first week, it’s important to check your buds at least twice a day for mildew and mold, this can go down to once a day after 1 to two weeks of curing. Take the buds out of the jar and look them over picking off any bud sections that are moldy.
The buds will be ready after 2 or 3 weeks, but a longer curing period can improve the taste and smoothness of the smoke still further and some strains can even require months of curing to be properly appreciated.
Top Tip: When you replace your buds in their jars make sure they are in a different position to how they came out. This helps to cure them evenly and reduces the risk of mold forming in areas pressed against the jars.

How to Water Cure Cannabis

The water curing process actually begins before the drying process and is a totally excellent way to remove vast arrays of unwanted substances that may be found lingering in your buds if you use the traditional method of curing. Using water to flush out impurities in the final weeks of growth can help improve taste and make for a truly smooth smoke. The downside of this method is that you may reduce some of the flavor of your buds.
In water curing, you will also use Kilner jars as you would in the traditional air-curing method. However, they will be filled with water and the buds will only need to stay in the jars, submerged in water, for about a week. The water speeds up the process of breaking down residual substances helping buds digest their sugars faster. As THC is fat soluble, the water will not dislodge it from the buds, meaning this method helps improve potency faster.
Place your trimmed flowers in your jar and fill the jar with water as the buds will float. Replace the water every day to flush out the unwanted substances and to purify your weed. Remember that this is a curing process, so just flushing your plant out whilst it’s still growing will not have the same effect as curing your buds in this way. Once 7-8 days have passed your buds are ready for drying. Be sure to check them for mold as this is more of a risk with this method.
Top Tip: Use distilled water as this will be free from any unwanted contaminants that may be present in the normal water supply coming out of your tap.

How to Freeze Dry Cannabis

If you’ve been interested in how to freeze dry weed for some time, you might want to consider biting the bullet and giving it a try as growing your own can leave you with huge surpluses that you might not want to share. Whilst good curing and keeping your weed in a Kilner jar in a cool and dark location can preserve your weed for up to 18 months, freeze drying can be a good option if you’ve had a huge yield or if you are making bubble hash.
To freeze dry you will need to first follow the usual dry curing method above before freeze-drying, otherwise, the benefits of freezing will be turned into negatives, remember the curing process is what adds potency to your buds so you have to do it. You’ll also need a machine such as a blast freezer found in many professional kitchens. For this reason, this method is not usually a good route for those who are not professional growers as it is pricey and requires a great deal of expertise.
If you’ve got your blast freezer, lay out you cured buds on a steel rack and place them in at sub-zero temperatures to freeze them. These buds will now be safe to store in a Kilner jar in a freezer. Another freeze-drying method that does not require the dry cure uses blast chillers that can also control pressure. These create a vacuum to turn ice crystals into gas which is sublimated by the vacuum into a condensation unit and retained in your bud’s taste, shape, and color.
Top Tip: Only choose this method if you have huge yields and have done plenty of research on the type of machine you will need as freeze-drying can lead to lost batches if not carried out carefully. However, fridge freezers inside fridges have evaporators built in so can be a good option for the beginner as it makes freezing your buds less risky.

How to Sweat Cure Cannabis

This method is popular in South America and the Caribbean and is typically used for large commercial crop grows as it is cheap and quick to do. In many ways, it is similar to how tobacco is cured. However, as a result of being a quick process, there are some downsides, such as making your buds brown and often reducing potency.
If the downsides don’t put you off and you have a whole load of buds to dry, then this method is not to be sniffed at. After all, it is a method used traditionally by Rasters who know a thing or two about the best way to smoke weed. All you need are paper bags and either paper towels or cotton cloths which are used to absorb any excess moisture.
Add your buds in layers into your paper bag separated by either the paper towels or your cotton cloths. Then, place your filled paper bags in the sun or under something warm. Make sure to turn the bags regularly each day for 5-6 days to ensure mold doesn’t form. Keep checking the buds inside the bag to spot changes in their color and any dryness as this will indicate that the sweat curing process is complete.
Top Tip: Remember to use paper bags when choosing this method. Plastic bags contain a charge that will steal your buds’ trichomes reducing potency.

How to Cure Cannabis with CO2

This method can be a popular choice as it avoids the use of heat, light, and air to cure cannabis, all of which can degrade potency if not controlled right. Thanks to the wide availability of dry ice these days, it is also much easier to give a go in comparison to the freeze-drying method outlined above, whilst offering similar benefits. Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide (C02) gas so you have to make sure it does not touch your bare skin directly.
All you need for this method is a container large enough to store the buds you want to dry and with space for an equal amount of dry ice. No light, air, or heat will need to touch your weed with this method to dry it. Just fill the container half full with dry ice and cover this with a cotton cloth where you can pile on your buds. Leave an escape route for the gas from the dry ice as it evaporates and place the container in the freezer.
This process draws out water molecules (in a process called sublimation) from the buds within 24-48 hours. However, you may need to add more dry-ice in this time so check it 2 or 3 times over this period and top it up if necessary. Although you will lose some trichomes using this method as they become brittle when frozen, you are still left with a pretty potent bud as they have not been exposed to heat, air or light.

How to Cure Cannabis in a Microwave, Oven, and Food Dehydrator

If you’re in a hurry then you can even cure your bud in any of a microwave, oven and food dehydrator. However, these methods are not recommended as they speed up the process massively and as you now know low and slow is much better if you want to increase your buds’ potency and make sure you maintain all the terpines, flavors and smells that your home-grown has to offer. If we have still not managed to put you off using this method, here’s how you can do it.
In a microwave, you can layer your buds in between cotton cloth and use the defrost setting to dry out your buds using heat. In the oven, you can lay it on a try and put it on the lowest heat possible with the door kept slightly ajar. Food dehydrators are even less recommended, but if you want to see for yourself what happens to fast cured buds, then put it in and give it a try, You’ll see with any of these methods that the smoke is harsh and the potency is poor.
Top Tip: Don’t cure your weed in this way! If you are interested to see the difference, just put in a small unattractive bud whilst you wait for the traditional method to come through and you’ll soon agree this method is not the one for you.

Conclusion

It’s clear that curing cannabis is a vital stage of the home growing process and if done slowly, in the right conditions, and with the best method for your needs, can lead to a highly potent and flavorsome product. In most cases, the best method for us is certainly the most basic and tried and tested Kilner jar, slow cure, traditional method outlined above. However, we highly recommend giving at least a few of the other methods a go to see which creates the best weed for your own tastebuds.

What is RSO (Rick Simpson Oil) ? Story, Protocol, Recipe and How to

If you have an interest in medical marijuana, then it won’t be long before you hear about RSO which stands for Rick Simpson oil. The legend of this oil has spread far and wide thanks to reports of its wide-ranging medical benefits, but who is Rick Simpson and what is different about the oil made in his name? In this post, we take a look at the answer to these questions and show you how to make your own batch of this wonderful THC rich oil derived from the Cannabis Indica strain.

Who is Rick Simpson?

Rick Simpson was actually brought to fame by accident and good fortune. Back in 1997, long before cannabis was getting the recognition and acceptance that it is now getting both for personal use and medicinal consumption, the now renowned Rick Simpson was working as an engineer in a Canadian hospital. AT the time he was working in a boiler room where he had been tasked with covering asbestos used on the hospital’s pipes with an aerosol glue to prevent its degeneration.
This boiler room was inevitably poorly ventilated and the toxic fumes from applying the glue led him to collapse and hit his head as he fell off his ladder due to a momentary shock to the nervous system. He lay unconscious for a couple of hours but when he awoke was able to drag himself through to the emergency room. He was soon discharged from his hospital sickbed but was soon feeling sick again and had a sharp ringing in his ears which continued for some years.
The medication he received did not seem to work and actually made him feel worse and after seeing a documentary showing the benefits of cannabis he asked if he could try medical marijuana, but was refused. It was at this point that Rick began to self-medicate with cannabis which soon had him feeling better. Because of how much he felt cannabis had helped him, he began to grow his own cannabis and started to make it into an oil to consume it. He also received encouragement from his doctors to continue using this oil although they could not officially endorse this at the time.

Free Cannabis for everyone

Rick didn’t stop just because he felt better. In fact, he recognized that others were probably in the same boat as he was and could also benefit from using his cannabis oil. As he was growing far more than he could use personally he started offering free cannabis for medicinal purposes to people who thought they might benefit from its use. Unfortunately, this kind gestured soon led to him being raided by the police and sued for his kind efforts and he had to move to Amsterdam.
In 2002 Rick noticed a couple of growths on his face and soon discovered that he had skin cancer. Having already benefitted from cannabis once, he looked into it again and found a 1975 study which showed THC and CBD had been shown to slow the growth of lung cancer in mice so thought he would put his oil to the test. He rubbed his oil into some bandages and wrapped them over these growths and, apparently, they soon disappeared from his face.

According to Rick, his cannabis oil had the potential to tackle the symptoms of cancer. However, it is important to take these claims with a considerable amount of caution and understand his personal experience does not indicate any proof and this treatment should never be used instead of other options. Rick’s case is only anecdotal and is much more important to listen to the advice of doctors and pay attention to peer-reviewed research.
Studies to date have had mixed results. Whilst a 2014 study, which was also carried out on mice, found that THC and CBD extracts seemed to improve the effectiveness of radiation therapy used against an aggressive form of brain cancer, a study in human cells found THC increased the growth rates of particular brain and lung cancer cells. More recent clinical studies involving human participants did not shed any light on whether cannabinoids can actually treat or even control cancer, although they were shown to be safe for use in cancer patients.
All this serves to highlight that you should not expect RSO oil to be a magic bullet in terms of being a cure for cancer and the evidence is not there to show it is necessarily beneficial. However, it is certainly worth talking to your doctor about.

What is Rick Simpson Oil?

So now you know about the Rick Simpson story, you are probably wanting to know what is the oil actually made of and how it is different to other cannabis oils. Well, interestingly enough, the recipe itself was first used way back in the 1800s by someone called W.B. O’Shaughnessy. However, since Rick Simpson offered this oil up for free it has subsequently come to be somewhat unofficially patented by him.
The main way that RSO differs from other cannabis oils is in that it contains much higher levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the part of the cannabis plant that gets users high as it is a psychoactive cannabinoid. The majority of cannabis oils on the market tend to be cannabidiol (CBD) based and usually contain less than 0.3% THC or even 0 THC. Rick Simpson also doesn’t sell his oil but instead encourages others to do it themselves using his method.

What are the potential benefits of RSO?

So we have already shown that the claims regarding cancer need to be taken with caution but what are some of the other claimed benefits? People have claimed RSO also has benefits for a number of ailments including: asthma, arthritis, the immune system, fighting infections, as an anti-inflammatory, high blood pressure, depression, insomnia, and multiple sclerosis. However, you should bear in mind that these claims are also untested and mostly based on anecdotal evidence.

How to make Rick Simpson Oil?

Ingredients and things you will need for this Rick Simpson Oil recipe:

  1. 1lb of Indica Strain cannabis (cured)
  2. 2 gallons of 99% proof isopropyl alcohol
  3. A deep bowl
  4. A 5-gallon mixing bucket
  5. A long handled wooden spoon
  6. Muslin/Cheesecloth
  7. A rice cooker

If you want to know how to make RSO, the first thing you are going to need to get your hands on is some cannabis buds or preferably entire plants. With this in mind, it is perhaps worth noting that if you are thinking of growing your own cannabis plants for this purpose, you should check you don’t live in a state or region where this is prohibited. The process can also be dangerous if not done properly so should only really be done by professionals.
However, essentially, making RSO is very similar to making Cannabutter and other types of cannabis and hemp tinctures. The Rick Simpson protocol requires the use of Indica cannabis strains for the best results. The buds or cannabis plants should be harvested and cured and then stirred and crushed into a bucket containing enough high-proof alcohol to cover your plant matter. This causes the resin and cannabinoids to separate themselves from the buds and plant matter.
Once the mixture has been resting for 3 minutes you can strain it through a cheesecloth or muslin into a separate bowl and return the plant matter to the bucket. At this stage, around 80% of the THC will have been captured. To get as much of the other 20% as possible you repeat the soaking and stirring process and strain the resulting alcohol into your bowl after three or four minutes. You can throw away the plant matter left in the muslin once you have done this the second time.
The next stage brings the rice cooker in to play. A rice cooker is a good choice because when heating the high-proof alcohol you do not want there to be any sparks or flames anywhere near it as it will set on fire pretty dramatically and very easily. Rice cookers also make it easy for you to control the temperature for a long period of time. You will need to make sure your mixture never reaches above 300 degrees Fahrenheit as this will cook off the cannabinoids.
You should keep the rice-cooker heated to between 210 and 230 degrees Fahrenheit which helps your mixture to decarboxylate. However, you should ideally set this up outdoors because this stage in the process is potentially dangerous as when the alcohol evaporates it can explode if the fumes touch the heating surface. Therefore it is a good idea to point a fan directly at the cooker to move the fumes away from the heat source and being outside prevents the damage an explosion could cause.
Decarboxylation removes the alcohol from the mixture, leaving only the desired cannabinoids in its wake. You will be left with a thick and sticky mixture that is black in color, extremely bitter, and highly potent. You should be careful with this as this is the famed RSO. This is powerful stuff so you should be careful with how much you use in a dose.

What strains make the best RSO in 2021

So now you know how to make RSO you are going to want to know what some of the best strains to grow are for you to get cracking with. You already know that Indica plants are the best for Rick Simpson Oil, but there are so many strains within that. Here are some of our favorite Indica, or predominantly Indica, strains that we know work well in cannabis concnetrates and RSO in-particular.

#1 Best Feminized Cannabis Seeds for making RSO: Afghan Kush Special

These excellent seeds produce a cannabis plant that is particularly well suited to making cannabis concentrates and don’t cost an arm and a leg either. This Afghan Kush is high in both THC and CBD with up to 10% CBD content found in some of the plants we have grown from seeds. This is a purely Indica strain too which would make Rick Simpson very happy indeed. As the seeds are feminized you also don’t need to worry about knowing how to spot a male plant.
Other pros of these seeds are that: they can be grown both indoors and out (although you will need plenty of room for them to grow into); they flower nice and fast and will be ready after around 7 or 8 weeks; they are a strain that is perfect for use making into RSO and have been specifically made to be made into cannabis concentrates, and they have a reasonably high yield. The downside of these seeds is that they grow into huge plants and have actually been genetically modified.

#2 Best Feminized Seeds for Indica Strain with High THC: THC Bomb Feminized

If you’re looking for an Indica strain with a high THC content that is perfect for use with homemade Rick Simpson Oil, then look no further. This plant is great for indoor grows as it doesn’t grow too big but still produces huge buds that are riddled with THC. Indeed, this Indica dominant strain has built a reputation for itself due to its high THC levels of up to 24%. The skunky smell will get your taste-buds tingling and might make you want to get in some smell masking equipment.
The other major benefits of these seeds are that: they are feminized and flower within 9-10 weeks; they grow well in most climates; they grow well in hydroponic setups and do particularly well when grown indoors if you don’t have a suitable outdoor space, and; you can increase yields by giving them a longer vegetation phase. The downside of these seeds is that they are very pricey and often sell out.

#3 Best Outdoor Cannabis Strain for RSO: Seedsman’s Afghan Kush

If you have an outdoor space suitable to grow cannabis plants and live in a mild climate but have plenty of sunshine, then these seeds will be worth considering. They are derived from cannabis plants found in the mountains of Afghanistan which is why they are so good at dealing with fluctuating temperatures. This Inidica strain would make Rick Simpson happy thanks to its impressive 21.6% THC content and up to 600-gram yields per square meter when grown outdoors.
Other benefits of these seeds are that: they are photoperiod so you can control when they flower and increase yields; the plants produce the sort of buds that are perfect for medicinal use; if you do save some of the buds for smoking the woody flavor is fantastic and the high nice and cerebral, and; the plant is sturdy and can be ready for harvest in as little as 6 weeks. The downside of these seeds is that they are not feminized so you need to know how to spot the males and move them.

#4 Best Autoflowering Cannabis Seeds for RSO: Seedsman’s Tutankhamon Auto

https://www.seedsman.com/en/auto-tutankhamon-feminised-seeds
When don’t have a large area outdoors suitable to grow cannabis or need to grow your weed more clandestinely, then auto-flowering strains can be a good way to go. These seeds will grow into plants that won’t grow much taller than 1 meter tall but still produce plenty of vegetation and really big buds that mean you’ll have plenty to play with when it comes to making your first ever batch of RSO. They also have one of the highest percentages of THC around which is nice.
Other great things about these seeds are that: they are auto flowering making them a good option for beginners and those looking to grow indoors; they have a really high content of THC of 20%; they grow with a lot of vegetation which you can add into your RSO mixer, and; they are suitable for cloning. The downside of these plants is that they take around 9 weeks to flower which is quite long for an auto-flowering strain. They also don’t deal well with too much humidity so you will need to control their environment carefully.

#5 Best Cannabis Seeds for RSO high in CBD and THC: Crown Royale Feminized

If you are after a strain that is suitable for use in RSO but is high in both CBD and THC, you may have been struggling to find what you are looking for. However, this strain will probably be just the trick for you as it has 21.5% THC and a pretty decent 2.1% of CBD content. This is a particularly resinous plant so will produce really sticky RSO that is going to be truly potent so is not for the faint-hearted. The high CBD content will also contribute to a good mood and boost your immune system.
Other pros about these seeds are that: they produce buds that are covered in glistening crystals which are going to come right off if you use the recipe above; it is a perfect medicinal strain; it can be grown indoors and outdoors, and it has been bred to be grown at home rather than for industrial purposes. The downsides of these seeds are that the plants do need a bit of care and attention so shouldn’t be taken on by absolute beginners and they don’t have the biggest yields.

#7 Best Cannabis Seeds for RSO for beginners: Seed Supreme’s AK-49 Auto

For those that are new to the homegrown cannabis game, it is well worth taking the time to find a strain that is easy to grow and copes well even in challenging environments (such as being looked after by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing!). These seeds can take a hell of a lot from a beginner and still produce decent yields at the end of it. In case you are wondering, this durability is because this strain is a cross between the AK-49 and the Lowryder and takes the best from both.
Other pros about these seeds are that: they are really cheap; they don’t grow that big so you don’t need a huge space to grow them in; they grow indoors and out easily; they flower rapidly so you won’t have to wait long before you can get stuck into making your own batch of Rick Simpson Oil, and; they are auto-flowering. The downside of these seeds is that they don’t have a high CBD content and they are a cross with the Sativa strain so Rick Simpson might not approve.

Conclusion

The world of medical marijuana has a lot to thank Rick Simpson for. Through both misfortune and good luck, he chanced upon a way to harness the benefits of cannabis in a topical form. His desire to promote the benefits of cannabis for medicinal use also paved the way for a change in attitudes and all came out of his burning desire to make cannabis legal and its benefits recognized. So whether you enjoy cannabis for medicinal or personal use, why not give a nod to Rick Simpson to say thanks.

How to Make Hash – Making good Bubble Hash for Beginners

If you’ve just started growing your own plants and you’re looking for a way to use up all of your spare trim, then making hash is a great way to use up all your kief. In this post, we’ll show you some of our favorite hash making methods and the best strains for each method. Whatever method you choose, you’ll enjoy the mellow cannabis experience that results from your own green-fingered handy work.
To help you out, here are the best online seed bank for you that work
https://youtu.be/hQ-2ooQuUkU

What is Hash?

Hash is a cannabis extract made by separating trichomes from the cannabis plant. Trichomes can be referred to as ‘kief’ and refer to the swollen crystals that form at the end of the hair-like glands that form on cannabis plants and often collects at the bottom of your grinder. These trichomes are where you find the highest concentration of the THC and CBD cannabinoids, as well as the strong smelling terpenes that hold the flavors of your plants.
Once these trichomes are separated from the leaves, buds, and stems of your plant and are either pressed or heated, they form a concentrated and powerful form of cannabis. The best quality hash should look a golden-brown color and will produce a distinct aroma and a high that you will love. Poorer quality batches tend to be greener and this indicates it contains too much plant matter.

How to Make Hash

If you’re keen to not see your kief to waste and want to find out how to make hashish, then you’ll have great fun giving the methods below a try and making your own hash in a variety of ways.

Approach 1: Hand Rolling

This is probably the simplest method and can simply start to happen if you’ve been handling a lot of buds and trim when harvesting your plants. As trichomes stick to your hands they will begin to form a sticky resinous layer of black on your skin. This layer can be formed into small spheres of hash by rubbing your hands together and then pressed into a block. Essentially, the more trichomes you have on your hands, the more hash you’ll get.
The issue with this method is that it can take a long time and produces pretty small yields for your hard work. However, it is still a popular method in Northern India and Nepal by people who have been making some of the best hash for centuries so is well worth giving it a go for yourself. Make sure you use cannabis buds and trimmings that have not been dried out and that your hands are clean and preferably washed with an organic and odorless soap bar.

Approach 2: Dry Sifting/Flat Screening

This is another simple method to make hash making it a popular choice. But requires you to buy a silkscreen. This is essentially a fine sieve which you sift your cannabis trimmings through to create a potent kief which can then be pressed in a pollen press to form hash. You’ll get the best results by freezing your trimmings first. Just pop them in a zip-locked freezer-bag overnight and they’ll be good to go.
Once your trimmings are nicely frozen the trichomes will be easier to separate from the plant matter. If you can, it’s good to weigh the trimmings you’re using first as you should aim to get a minimum of 10% of the weight of your trimmings in trichomes. Simply rub your frozen trimmings against your silk screen over a sheet of baking paper and watch the glistening trichomes fall on to the surface below where they will be ready for pressing.

Approach 3: Blending Hash

This method is slightly more complicated, but other than the silk screen you’ll probably have all the equipment you need for the process in your home already – namely, you will need a blender, some ice cubes, a large glass jug, and a coffee filter. The great thing about this method is that the final product you are left with doesn’t require you to heat it or press it as it is good to go straight into a joint or any food you might want to add it to.
The method involves popping the trimmings into a blender and covering them with water before adding a good handful of ice. Give them a minutes blast in the blender then pass this mixture through your silk screen into your glass jug and leave to settle for half an hour. You’ll be able to see the trichomes settling on the bottom of your jug.
Once the half hour is up, carefully drain off around 2/3rds of the water. Make sure you pour this away gently to avoid dislodging your trichomes from the bottom of the jug. Re-fill the jug with fresh cold water and plenty of ice and leave for just 3-5 minutes before carefully draining off 2/3rds of the water again. Repeat this process at least twice more or 4-5 times for the best quality hash before getting rid of as much of the water as you can without losing the trichomes.
The final stage is to pass what’s left in the jug through your coffee filter. You can usually separate the mesh from the filter of a cafetière which is perfect for this stage. Squeeze the mixture against the filter to get rid of as much excess water as possible. Leave it to dry naturally and it’s ready to use as you please.

Approach 4: Bubble Hash

If you’ve had a go at the basic methods above and want to produce more potent hash and bigger yields, then you really need to look into how to make bubble hash. This process is a lot like the blender method but on a bigger scale. Whilst it does require specialist equipment, the improved potency and yields make this an attractive option for the connoisseurs out there. You’ll need a variety of sizes of cannabis mesh bags, 2 large buckets and a wooden spoon along with a lot of ice!
Start by adding your trimmings to one of the buckets and filling it with lots of ice. Add enough water to fully submerge your trimmings and stir continuously for 15 minutes and allow the cold agitation to break the trichomes off into the water. Place the mesh bags you have in the other bucket, with the finest mesh bag being the innermost bag and make sure they are open and secured in the bucket.
Now you’re ready to pour the trimmings mixture into your mesh bags. Do this carefully and allow it to sit in the mesh-lined bucket for 15 minutes to drain. Then, one at a time take out each mesh bag and hold it over the bucket to drain, poor more ice water over the bag, shake it and allow it to drain before setting it aside in the spare bucket. Do this for each mesh bag.
Finally, remove the hash left in each bag to a clean non-stick surface to dry on. Make sure you remember which pile of hash relates to which mesh fineness. The bubble hash will be whatever is in the hash piles from the mesh bags that sieve for 72 to 90 microns and is the most potent and aromatic.

Best Strains for Hash 2021

If you prefer smoking hash, then it makes sense to pick a plant which is going to give you an abundance of the lovely crystals that lead to a finely blended hash. Here we outline some of the top strains for hash and the best seeds we’ve found that lead to good yields even for beginners.

#1 Best Cannabis Seeds for Hand Rolled Hash Approach: Crop King’s Sour Diesel

https://www.cropkingseeds.com/feminized/sour-diesel-marijuana-seeds/
If you’re just starting off in the world of homegrown hash, why not kick-off with one of the world’s most popular strains for ash in the world. The effect of this hash gives you a euphoric buzz and kicks in quick. You’ll also be pleasantly surprised by the energetic high you get off sour diesel and the clear-headed and lucid high is a real boost to creative thinking. This strong smelling flavorsome plant makes some real tasty hash.
The major pros of this strain for hash lovers is that: it produces a high number of trichomes which tend to pump out plenty of resin; it is a good choice for those wanting to try out hand rolling their hash; it performs well both indoors and out; the growth rate is super fast, and; it produces big yields.  The downside of this strain is that it tends to grow quite big and is extremely pungent so it is not the stealthiest of plants to grow.

#2 Seeds for Flat Screening Hash Approach: Marijuana Seed’s ICE Feminized

https://www.marijuana-seeds.nl/ice-feminized
ICE, or ‘Indica Crystal Extreme’ gains its name from the insane number of trichomes it produces to the extent where the plant looks like it has been under heavy snow. Fortunately, that white outer layer to the large flowers is actually a hefty coating of resin. This basically means this is a great plant for hash lovers and it is a good strain to try out if you want to give flat screening a go and is great for hand rolling also.
Other things that make this a great choice for hash fanatics are that: it produces an instant body-high and produces a relaxing and meditative state of mind; it is suitable for growing indoors and out; it doesn’t grow too tall when grown indoors (it won’t go past 120cm indoors);  it is ready for harvest anywhere between 8 and 10 weeks, and; the flavor is phenomenal. The downside of these seeds are that they produce a heavy stone, so if that’s not your thing they’re not for you.

#3 Seeds for Blending Hash Approach: Seed Supreme’s Gorilla Girl Feminized Seeds

https://www.seedsupreme.com/gorilla-girl-feminized-seeds.html
If you’ve taken a look at the hash making methods listed above and think you’d like to give the blender method a go before moving on up to the high-grade bubble hash method, then you’ll love these seeds. The flowers produced are incredibly resinous and you’ll find levels of THC in this plant that are out of this world and up to 25% THC and beyond. These properties make it a great choice for the blender method.
Other major pros of these seeds are that: they grow wide and bushy, rather than too tall which can make them a more stealthy grow; the buds are dense; they produce plants that are covered in beautiful trichomes, and; the high you get off the hash is one that is spread equally between your body and your mind keeping your brain nicely active whilst relaxing your body. The downside is they do need to be kept nice and warm to produce at their best so outdoor growing isn’t always suitable.

Afghani and Pakistani hash has long been noted as some of the best hash in the world and these seeds bring you the best of both places in a single plant that just loves to produce trichomes that hash growers the world over love. The thick stems help to form nicely dense buds that will produce an abundance of the fine micron hash that will make the bubble hash approach more than worthwhile for this strain.
The other major pros of these seeds are that: they produce buds flavored with spices that will make your mouth water; it grows really nice and short indoors (no more than 80cm); it has a 20% THC plant ratio, and; it produces an energetic high for the body and mind. The downside of these seeds are that they are a bit pricey and you won’t want to grow any other weed once you’ve tasted this and enjoyed the high of this hash.

#5 Best Silk Screen for Hash: Speedball 4712 10-Inch-by-14-Inch Screen Printing Frame

If you’re looking to give the dry sifting/flat screening method a go then these frames made for screen printing are a really good option. With 230 mesh measurement meaning there are 230 threads per inch. This is the equivalent of a 90-micron space between the threads which make some pretty decent quality hash without making the process too difficult. Although it is made for textiles and screen printing the design is actually great for this method too.
You can get these in various sizes, but the A4 is easier to manage if you are using the screen just for trimmings. If you hope to use the screen in your grow space it is probably worth moving up to the A3 size as this will provide you more cover as your plant grows and help you catch those trichomes along the way.

How to Make Hash Oil

If you’ve loved making hash and want to try your hand at making some of the other great cannabis-derived products, why not give hash oil making a try? Hash oil is a great way to make your weed stronger and a great way to make use of weed that is no longer suitable to be smoked as it allows you to capture the THC and CBD trichomes left in your weed.
Fortunately, it’s also pretty easy to make hash oil, all you need to do is:

  1. Place a strainer, filter, and funnel over a collection jar.
  2. Mix your unsmokable weed in a mixture of 190 proof alcohol in a stainless steel cup.
  3. Stir this for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the mixture through the strainer you set up at ‘step a)’ and discard the plant matter.
  5. Wait for the alcohol to evaporate (left overnight uncovered).
  6. Place your ready-made hash oil in an airtight storage container.

If possible, you should use ethyl alcohol rather than isopropyl alcohol as you can be sure it is edible and won’t have any ingredients in it which must not enter the body. However, if you can only find isopropyl alcohol just check the ingredients are non-toxic. You’ll also get a more potent oil if you freeze your mix at ‘step c)’ for around 8 hours as this helps make the trichomes ripe for extraction.
For ‘step e)’ it is also possible to boil the alcohol off but this must be done in a well-ventilated space as a whiff of the evaporating pure alcohol can cause you to faint. When boiling off the alcohol you should use a double boil method, where you boil a bowl of water resting in a pan and reduce the heat before placing a bowl over the first bowl to heat the alcohol off.
You should also make sure the alcohol only touches stainless steel. If it touches plastic, rubber, copper or most other materials than stainless steel there is a good chance these materials might leach off into your oil and you don’t really want to be smoking plastic!

How to make dabs: 3 simple ways to make dabs at home?

Some of the cannabis enthusiast look for a new ways to use them. Sometimes due to increase of tolerance for marijuana, they want to try something what will give them more intensive “high”. One of these ways is using dabs.

How to make dabs?

Before we answer this question, let’s talk about what dabs are?. Most simply: This is a product of extraction and concentration of phytocannabinoids such as CBD, THC and other. You need a solvent for it. The most common one is butane. We differentiate a few types of this: Wax, Butane Hash Oil, Budder and others. So, the way of making them may differ to each other. The way of consumption is quite easy. We put a dab on a hot surface and inhale all of the “smoke” which come out of it. There are a lot of tools which are made for that. You can even use dabs using your e-cigarette. Till this moment you probably thought why people use dabs.. We will answer this question a bit later. At the moment, let’s discuss some of the technical, medical and chemical issues of this process.

Which substances we are able to extract?

As you probably think, this stuff is available in shops, the internet and other places. But what if I want to make them by myself? How to make dabs? Is it difficult? Which solvent should I use? Let’s look into the process!
First of all, we should discuss which substances you can extract during creating dabs. Almost every substance. It can be THC, CBD, terpenes and even fragrances. The last one is the hardest to extract, because these substances are chemically unstable and they come into reaction with the most popular solvents like butane and alcohol. You can do this process on your own without specialistic tools, but keep in mind that there is a few high-tech methods to do it like full-spectrum extraction.

How to make dabs at home?

You may think: Is it possible to make dabs yourself at home. Of course, it is!. The difficulty of that may differ on type of dab and process of therpenes/phytocannabinoids extraction. The main issue is which type of solvent are you going to use? Butane or alcohol?

#1 Solvents: How to make dabs with butane?

We should say something important at the beginning. Making dabs with butane is dangerous. This substance is highly flammable. Due to that, we don’t recommend to make it on your own. Especially if you aren’t experienced. There is a lot of techniques of performing this method of solvation. We will try to describe it in a few simple words. The main issue of action is passing butane liquid through raw sample of cannabis. Due to that, some substances such as: THC, CBD and others dissolve in butane and goes out from the plant to filter. The butane evaporates from the filtered concentrate and extract with high level of phytocannabinoids is ready. Remember that this is dangerous process. In USA there is a lot of explosions because of making dabs using butane as a solvent.

#2 Solvents: How to make dabs with alcohol?

This method is much easier and safer than extraction using butane. Let’s look into that.
#1 After preparing small, round nugs put them into the glass. Pour the alcohol to cover nugs with them.
#2 You have to leave this solution for about 10 minutes. You should stir it during this time.
#3 On this step, we demand to evaporate off the alcohol from our solution. To make it, we need a source of heat. It could be for example a pot which stays on cooker’s fire. You pour a mixture which we have made before and keep it on the smallest fire we can. This step should last a few hours. Be careful with the temperature. If it will be too high, it will break a chemical structure of phytocannabinoid.
#4 If everything is going well, after time you should get a bit sticky mass, which contains a low level of alcohol. If it gets harder, replace it to another dish and cumulate the biggest portion of wax which you are able to.
#5 Repeat steps described above as many time it’s possible.
#6 One of the last steps is filtering concentrate from the solvent. You can use a coffee filter to drain concentrate to another clean glass.
#7 To evaporate the rest of the solvent, from the jar with concentrate to warm water and wait. This will speed up the evaporation of the solvent from our product.
Steps above present a “shortcut” of the process. Before doing it on your own, we recommend you to do your research about this topic. The Solvent you have used has determined the way of administration of the dab. What do we mean? Dabs which are made with alcohol as a solvent should be only consumed by oral. In Vaporizer and Dab Rig you shouldn’t use materials with alcohol. So, if you feel confused because of the lack of butane there is a chance for you. We have just described how to make a dab without butane. The best of alcohols which you can use is ethanol and isopropyl alcohol. Another, interesting technique is QWISO – Quick Wash Isopropyl Extract. One od the biggest advantage of this method is time. You can save a lot of it making dabs this way.

#3 Do we always need a solvent to make dabs?

Not exactly. There is a type of dab which you can make on your own without experience and even specific tool (aside from hair straightener). It’s Rosin. To perform the process of making Rosin, you will need cannabis, parchment paper, and source of weight and temperature: iron or hair straightener. Ok, if you everything from this list, let’s start.

#1 Turn your hair straightener or iron on and aim your temperature on medium.
#2 Make a something like pocket using your parchment paper and put the cannabis (not a large amount) into it.
#3 Put this into the straightener or under the iron for about 5 seconds.
#4 As you can notice, there is a yellow, sticky substance on the paper. This is Rosin. Now you can collect it with some tool to the jar.
#5 You can repeat steps 3-4 a few times using the same sample to extract everything from that.
We have talked about what dabs are and how to do them. We shoul look into their effects and how reacts human’s body on them.

Do dabs get you higher?

As you probably think, due to high concentration of the phytocannabinoids in extract, dabs may lead you to intensive high. This is true. But you should know that dabs are easy to overdose. So, instead of pleasant high, you will get paranoia, anxiety and insomnia.

What are the side effects of dabbing?

We have to warn you from dabs which were made using butane. This substance in higher temperatures (978F) degrades into methacrolein and benzene. The first one is similar to a harsh pulmonary irritant – acrolein. This substance can lead to pulmonary oedema and acute lung injury. But there are other dangers connected with using dabs. Look, the dab is a pure extract of substances from cannabis. So, concentration, for example of THC in 1 gram of dab is a lot higher than in 1 gram of cannabis leaves. According to that, it’s easy to overdose phytocannabinoids and the feelings of it could be overwhelming. Despite several pieces of research, the toxic dose of THC and CBD isn’t already known. But remember, there isn’t a substance which in high doses is good for you, because even water can kill you. Have you read our article about purple strains? They contain a high level of THC. We have mentioned that they will lead you to paranoia and anxiety if you overdose them. The same effect can exist after using a dab which contains a higher level of THC than “normal” cannabis. Like using any other substance, overdosing phytocannabinoids may lead to increase of tolerance to them.

Addiction. Are dabs addictive?

This is an interesting question. Phytocannabinoids, in rare cases, can lead to physical addiction. In this type, your body “demands” the next dose of the substance. If you don’t take it, you will feel withdrawal symptoms. But as I mentioned before, the risk of that is low. The other type is psychological dependence, which is described as an addiction to feeling – for example to “high” after marijuana. The chance of developing this illness is higher than the first one. At the and of the day, because of intensive “high” after dabs, there is a higher risk of developing mental dependence.

Are You Ready to dab?

Before using a dab, you have to answer a few questions:
-How I use cannabis? Recreational or medical?
-How high is your tolerance for cannabis?
-Are you going to buy dabs or make it yourself?
-If you want to do them yourself, do you have some skills, tools and place for that?
If you use cannabis recreational (mainly strains with high THC), you have to be aware of the side effects of overdosing. On medical aspects, you should consider and get info if you take other medicaments, so which effects would you expect if the dose of CBD will be too high. For these issues, you have to answer yourself. Nobody knows your situation. From the technical point of view: are you aware of dangers connected with manufacturing dabs? Do you remember that butane is high flammable? Are you ready to take a risk? The last issue. Be aware that buying good quality dabs could be difficult. There is a lot of bad-quality dabs with which are made with unknown solvents and other chemical substances. You must be confident of the seller. We hope that this article will be helpful for you to take your decision.

Summary

Using dabs is a good way to take a high dose of phytocannabinoids and to feel stronger effects of them. The process of manufacturing each other type of dab may differ to each other. Some of them are simple to make, for example, Rosin. Other need to butane as a solvent, which is highly dangerous. the whole process of making them can be time-consuming due to the time of evaporating off the solvent. Buying dabs from the market could be a bit risky because of low-quality products. Some of them can contain toxic substances and unknown solvents. Unfortunately, there are some articles and users which claims that a lot of dabs are contaminated by pesticides and residual solvents. Before the decision about using them, you have to consider the adverse effect of dabs. There is a suspicion that some solvents used in the process of manufacturing dabs (butane) can lead to lung injury. You have to be aware that the high wouldn’t be a pleasure if you overdose dabs. In this article, we tried to give you short but reliable knowledge about dabs and effects of them. Because of different types of solvents, not every dab is possible to use in every possible way. You have to also remember that using dabs in e-cigarettes may be dangerous. They can mix with vaping liquids, which can lead to some toxic substances. We hope that it will help you to answer some of your question connected with this subject.

Dry Ice Hash: How To Make Dry Ice Hash from Buds/Trim

The last time we have talked about dabs. Today we gonna show you another “alternative” method of using weed. We will present you a Hash. After reading this publication, you will know what the hash is, is it possible to do it by yourself and how to store it. We would also talk about safety issues, how to use and store it. Due to that, we recommend you to read the whole article before you decide to use or make a hash on your own.

What is ice hash?

In the beginning, we have to answer this question. In the simplest words, we can talk that this is a resin extract which contains phytocannabinoids. The most popular ones are THC-containing hash, but extracts with CBD are also attractive. They are made from resin glands of cannabis. Believe it or not, but the hash was used in 1100 BC in Egypt. We can say, that this is one of the oldest methods of using a hash. We can use it to create hush butter and use it for further products like hush honey or in dabbing. We differentiate some kinds of it due to the method of manufacturing. It can be produced using solvents like butane and others. As you can probably expect, these can contain other, sometimes harmful, substances into it. Dry Ice Hash contains almost only natural resin from the plant. Of course, the quality of the final product depends on the manufacturer, but in most cases, dry ice hash is purer than extracts made with solvents.

How is dry hash different?

Although every of a hash is made from resin glands, they differ on the method of preparation. First of all, we don’t use chemicals to extract resin from the glands. During some methods of extraction, we have to use alcohols and other solvents to take out the extract from the plant. If you want to read something about solvents and risk of them, we recommend you to check our article about dabs. Dry hash method is different. We have to only “mix” resin glands with dry ice and the process of extraction starts immediately! But this is not all. Your hash is ready to use almost immediately after preparation. It’s a big advantage because in case of using other methods sometimes you have to wait even a few days for becoming hash dry. Some of cannabis conneseiur claim that dry ice method is the only one which keeps aroma and taste of weed! So, let’s put together the biggest advantages of dry ice hash:
– It’s extremely easy to produce.
– It has unique taste and smell.
– It’s much healthier than methods which use solvents like butane.
– It’s the fastest available method of manufacturing hash.

How to make dry ice hash?

What if you decide to make dry ice hash by yourself? No problem. In this paragraph, we talk to you “step by step” how to do it properly. We also want to answer the most common questions connected with this issue:
What do you need to make a dry ice hash?
How much dry ice do you use for hash?
As you can probably think, the most important thing you need is resin glands. They contain a lot of resin inside, significantly more than leaves. You have to collect them from your plant or buy them if they are available. We recommend you to buy resin glands only from checked, trusted source! The next very important thing is dry ice. It’s crystalised CO2, which temperature is -78 C (-109F). You can buy it in some countries in the pharmacy or internet markets. You have to be very careful because the low temperature is harmful to your skin and eyes. Due to that, you need thick gloves and safety glasses. You should have about 1 kg of ice. Of course, you need also some tools which allow you to but the ice to the bucket. The last things, without which we can’t start are hash bags in different sizes: 73μ, 160μ, 220μ. Before we start production, we should talk about safety. You have to work in a well-ventilated area. The ice turns into CO2. The amount of gas which comes from 1 kg of ice is quite high. Due to that, we recommend you to work in the area with good circulation of air. The next important tip: use some kind of tool for ice. Due to the very low temperature of that, there is a risk of frostbite on your skin. Injuries like that are painful and hard to treat. So, be careful! Don’t put ice into a closed container. Gases which appears after dissolving the ice can explode in a closed environment due to increase of pressure. Don’t throw the ice to the sink or toilet. This can lead to the destruction of these items. Also, there is a possibility of freezing pipes in your bathroom! To avoid it, leave the useless ice outdoor – it will dissolve naturally into the air.
Ok. It looks like we already have everything we need to start.

#Step 1

Grind the glands and put them with ice into bucket. After that, put the 73μ bag on the bucket and squeeze it for about 4 minutes.

#Step 2

Turn the bucket upside-down, empty the bucket to the bag. Shake the bag over the clean surface The powder you get after that is crystallized resin.

#Step 3

Turn of the bag from the bucket and empty every powder from it on surface.

#Step 4

Use a scraper or credit card to collect the powder.

#Step 5

You can use some extra ice to bind a free portion of grind powder and repeat the process.

#Step 6

You can decide if you want your hash in one big bullet, or keep in as a powder. To cumulate it in bullet use ice.

Ok. It’s finished. As you can see (or experience) the process is fast and easy. After that, you get pure and ready to use a hash. How to do it in the right way?

How to judge the quality of the hash?

This paragraph is dedicated to those, who prefer buying hash than producing it. Sometimes it’s hard to identify what is inside the bullet of hash. Although, we give you some tips which can indicate the product you are going to buy is good quality. First of all – aroma. Always fresh hash has its smell which reminds resin. If you smell a mouldy aroma – leave it alone. This product moulds because the producer has not dried it properly. The other warning sign is a “plastic” smell. It indicates that the hash contains some additional chemical substances. Some information of quality comes from a view of the product. Good-quality hash is most commonly brown. If you can take it in hands you can also check the hardness of the product. Good quality, a hand-made hash is always hard when is cold, and a bit soft when it’s warm. There is another method to asset the hash. It’s called a “bubble test”. Put a piece of hash into the fire. If you notice that bubbles appear, it’s evidence that the product is reached in resin. If it gets black after contact with flame there is a possibility that our products contain chemical contaminations.

How to smoke dry ice hash?

There are a lot of possible ways of smoking hash. They depend on your preferences and the equipment you have. We want to present you some of the methods to smoke hash.

#1 Joints, blunts, spliffs.

This is the most popular method. You don’t have to poses any special equipment for that. Using joints you add some other substances to your hash to change a “high”, smoke or taste. Because you smoke directly from the hash, you should be slowly. Otherwise, the “high” could be hard.

#2 Pipe

Everyone who uses cannabis knows the pipes. With this popular tool, you can also smoke hash. Is it good? It depends on what do you expect from smoking. Due to the lack of filter inside the pipe, the “high” after smoking is really hard. On the other hand, there is a possibility to smoke appearance.

#3 Vape pen

The other tool which allows you to enjoy your hash. Alike the concentrates, you can use it for a hash.

#4 Hookah

Middle Eastern, very very old tool for smoking weed (but not at all). It’s a system of hoses connected to the “centre” In this case you avoid harsh smoke because of filtration. The smoke goes through the liquid which plays a filter role. It can be water or even milk. The high isn’t hard but smoking hash using it is quite pleasurable.

#5 Bottle Hits and Hash Globe

Tools like that are getting more popular for smoking hash. You can make it on your own or buy it. We recommend using these, which are manufactured from glass – they don’t melt in high temperature and you avoid the smell of burning plastic.

How to store dry ice hash?

Like any other chemical substance, terpenes have their conditions in which they are fresh. It is said that terpenes like the cold. In this sentence, there is almost everything you need to know about dry ice handling to keep it in good quality for a while. The most important fact is that terpenes evaporate easily from the hash. To stop this process we need to cool down it. Secondly, phytocannabinoids are sensitive to daylight. You always shout keep the has in dark places. Quite a good idea to keep your hash is a refrigerator. Freezing your hash keeps them fresh for a long time.
Are you going to travel with your hash or transport it to another area? We have some tips for you.
As we have mentioned before, the best for storing dry ice hash is a cool and dark environment. To achieve conditions like that you can pack your hash in a plastic bag and keep it with ice-packs in a dark place. It’s the best way to transport your hash.

Summary

We hope that the article above described you what the dry ice hash is. We have tried to follow you step by step process of manufacturing it on your own. If you decided to do it after a lecture, keep in mind every safety issue we have mentioned! Trust us – freezing after touching dry ice are hard to heal. You have to always know which kind of hash you are going to produce. Do you want a high CBD or high THC one? Maybe mix of it? You have to choose a strain to make has from. Regardless of the level of cannabinoids, we recommend you to use strains with big resin glands. You can also make it from leaves, but the amount of resin you get after that is quite low. If you don’t want to make hash, you can always buy it on markets. Alike every cannabis stuff – you have to be careful in choosing a good quality product. There is a lot of rubbish on the market. We hope, that advice we have given you above will help you avoid low-quality products. There are different methods of using a hash. You can smoke it using joints, or in other ways. Always keep your hash in a dry and cold environment. Before use remember that hash isn’t for beginners. The “high” after hash is hard. If you newbie, we recommend you to wait for a while before trying a hash.
